Dear Reader,

When we are referring to products and services, the adjective “exceptional” can often be used with a well-defined meaning.

Speaking about people, it is much more difficult to assign the qualifier. (In the following sentences I’ll use the feminine pronoun, just for exemplification)

So, I made myself a rule of thumb. When asked: “Is she exceptional?”

I reply: “I don’t know what you mean exactly, but I do care about her, and that’s what makes her exceptional in my eyes.”

Visualisation is the first step toward positive change, so envisioning someone as a unique and above-the-average human and telling her about it, can have a profound impact in the long run, making a prediction come true. It can also wipe away or prevent negative self-talk, the worst enemy of self-realisation.

Until next time, surround yourself of many would-become-exceptional people!
